Okavango Delta Tours & Safaris

Every sensible way to experience the delta and the parks around it — compared, priced and bookable in a couple of taps.

There is no single "best" Okavango safari — there is the right one for your time and budget. Below, the tours are grouped by exactly that: short experiences from Maun, full days in the delta and Moremi, the Chobe and Victoria Falls add-ons, and multi-day safaris that go deep.

Everything here is booked through GetYourGuide, which means live availability, free cancellation on most options and reserve-now-pay-later on many. Prices are indicative "from" starting points in euros per person and change with season and exchange rates — tap any card for the live price in your own currency.

Booking questions

Frequently asked questions

Which Okavango Delta tour is best value?

The full-day all-inclusive mokoro trip from Maun — around €150 with transfers, lunch and a bush walk, and the most-reviewed delta experience on GetYourGuide. For Chobe, the full-day Kasane safari at around €107 is exceptional value.

Is a day trip enough to see the delta?

It shows you the essentials: the mokoro, the channels and a walk on an island. But the eastern delta reachable from Maun is quieter for wildlife than the inner delta or Moremi, so if you want big game, add a Moremi day or a multi-day safari.

Mobile camping safari or fly-in camp?

Mobile safaris move a tented camp with you by road and cost a fraction of the fly-in lodges; you get the same wildlife with simpler comforts. Fly-in camps are small, luxurious, exclusive and far more expensive. Both are excellent — it is a question of budget.

What is included in the price?

Day trips usually include transfers from Maun, a guide and lunch. Multi-day safaris normally include the guide, vehicle, camping and meals; park fees, drinks and tips vary. Each listing spells out what is included.

Can I cancel if my plans change?

Most listings offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start, and many let you reserve now and pay later. The exact terms are shown on each tour page before you confirm.
